Merry Christmas all! I wanted to let you all know that your Christmas gifts are going to be late, but they will get there. Cannon & Rebecca, Katherine, Johnathan, and Dylan will all recieve gifts this year from us. Doris &Keith can pick up Christmas prints for them as well as Nona & Lonnie at the Walmart photo center in Beaumont. Pat & John, you can also pick up your prints at the Gallup photo center.
Due to the snow storm that blew through here followed by a bout of stomach illness, the children's gifts will not arrive until after Christmas. For this I am very sorry, but at least it will seem like Christmas goes on and on for them!!

AIDAN'S 2nd BIRTHDAY

Christmas in Middlebury, IN.
Christmas ideas.
For Christmas this year we are sticking to themes. Aidan is into the movie Cars and Willow is into Hannah Montana. Aidan is wearing a size 2T and Willow is in a size 6 or size 7SLIM. Seth is into Transformers right now and yes he has the movie, but would love anything Transformers. I love homespun fabric to make my crafts from.
An update on Willow.
Willow did have the tube placed in her ear; however, a follow up hearing exam is showing a mild to moderate hearing loss in her right ear. We will be traveling yet again to Grand Rapids to see an Ear specialist. We expect he will perform a thorough examination of her ear drum and then we will go from there.

Willow's operation.
Hello family and friends! Tomorrow Willow will finally have a tube placed in her right ear. This has been long awaited, since January of this year and we are so glad she is getting the help that she needs. After several doctor's appointments we finally began seeing specialists who determined that she has a significant hearing loss in her right ear. The Ear, Nose and Throat Doctor is optimistic that it is just fluid build up impairing her hearing; however, he also suspects that her ear bones may not have developed properly.
She will be under anesthesia for a total of 15 minutes and while under, the Doctor is also going to perform and allergy test, which has also been long awaited (several years actually). The tube will be surgically placed and will fall out on it's own in about 8 - 9 months. There is risk of scar tissue build up after it is placed in the ear canal, but in the long run it will be minimal compared to the hearing improvement Willow will experience. This of course is also expected to help her speech which in turn helps her reading and communication skills, so we are so excited to get this underway. We expect a very different Willow once this is over and I can't wait to see all of the positive changes!
If you have time, please send Willow a cute card, she will really appreciate it!
